Mario Hermoso is projected to make his first appearance for Roma on Sunday.
The Spanish defender joined the Giallorossi two weeks ago after concluding his time as a free agent.
In no time at all Hermoso was able to climb in the ranks of Daniele De Rossi’s team, affirming his place as a leader on and off the pitch.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Hermoso has been training so well that De Rossi is ready to give him a chance from the first minute against Genoa this coming Sunday.
The newspaper writes that Hermoso could make a start in Roma’s three-man defense alongside Gianluca Mancini and Evan Ndicka in what would initially be a 3-5-2 formation.
