Nicola Zalewski’s decision to turn down Galatasaray’s approach resulted in one of the club’s long-standing executives to resign.
Galatasaray tried in every way to sign Zalewski, who however rejected the Turks’ proposal several times.
Roma ultimately decided to leave him out of the squad, while the Galatasaray emissaries left Ciampino for Germany earlier this morning.
With the deal for Zalewski collapsed, the Turkish club is in chaos.
In fact, as reported a few minutes ago by Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray director Cenk Ergun has resigned after 18 years at the club.
