Italy head coach Luciano Spalletti discussed Niccolo Pisilli’s first senior call-up with the national team.
In his introductory press conference for this new international break, the Tuscan technician spoke about the young Roma talent.
“Pisilli, looking at him, seems like a really good midfielder, he can do both phases and he’s someone who’s worked hard to be where he is now,” said Spalletti.
“De Rossi told me that in training he’s someone who always scores goals, he’s good at finishing.”
“He has pace, he has energy. He’s someone who can do a bit of everything, he can be part of our new identity,” Spalletti added.
“I think he also deserved to come here with us and now we’ll realize where he’s at in terms of growth.”
