Following last night’s debacle against Fiorentina, legendary Roma captain Giuseppe Giannini weighed in on the difficult situation at Trigoria.

In an interview with Adnkronos, Giannini remarked, “I’m not inside the club, but I think it’s appropriate to talk as little as possible and train hard in a situation such as this one.”

“And then I think the players themselves have responsibilities, everyone is at fault: when things aren’t going well, responsibilities should be divided equally between the various sectors, the club, the technical staff and the team.”

“I’m not saying that the dressing room is rowing against Juric, but that the players necessarily have to bring out something more when things aren’t going well.”

“Then whether the time has come to change or not, I don’t know, also because the changes are so fast and unpredictable as we saw with De Rossi: it was a change that no one expected and yet it happened, so I don’t know what to say about a possible quick dismissal. At this moment even Guardiola would struggle at Roma, though.”
