Eldor Shomurodov has been forced to halt his commitment with the Uzbekistan national team.
The Roma striker suffered an injury against Georgia on Thursday and left the pitch in tears.
Earlier today, the Uzbekistan national team released a statement confirming Shomurodov’s absence from further commitments in this international break.
The player will now make his return to Rome where he will undergo further tests.
