Leandro Paredes’ destiny changed with Claudio Ranieri’s appointment as Roma’s interim coach.
The veteran technician helped Paredes get back on the pitch after two months of barely playing any minutes under Ivan Juric.
Since his arrival, Ranieri turned Paredes back into the reliable midfielder that played at the orders of Daniele De Rossi last season.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Paredes has now changed his mind and will stay at Roma at least until the end of his contract which runs out in June.
Moreover, the club are said to be evaluating the possibility of renewing Paredes’ contract given his importance to the squad and inside the locker room.
