Eldor Shomurodov is hoping to leave Roma in search of more consistent playing time.
The Uzbek striker is in fact very close to joining Venezia on loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season.
Roma and Venezia are in close contact in order to seal the deal as soon as possible, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.
However, first the Giallorossi will need to secure Shomurodov’s replacement.
Without his replacement, Shomurodov will not be given the green light to leave the Italian capital.
