Good news for Claudio Ranieri as Roma look ahead to their upcoming Serie A engagement with Parma.

In last night’s draw with Porto, Paulo Dybala was forced to come off before halftime.

The reason remained unclear although it was suspected that the player suffered a heavy blow to his knee after an opponent’s tackle.

As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, however, today the Argentine underwent tests that revealed no serious injury, just a strong contusion.

It remains to be seen whether Roma will choose to rest him on the weekend, in order to have him ready for the return leg with Porto next Thursday.
