Claudio Ranieri weighed in on Roma’s draw for the Round of 16 with Athletic Bilbao.
The veteran technician did not hide his excitement ahead of the big showdown between the two teams that met earlier in the season.
“It’s one of the most fascinating challenges for those who do this job. Athletic Bilbao is a team I’ve faced several times when I coached in Spain,” he said in an official interview with the club.
“Going to their stadium, with that history and that sense of belonging, is never easy. They’re a very strong team, but we’ll do everything we can to advance in the competition.”
