Como manager Cesc Fabregas did not sound discouraged following his side’s defeat to Roma.
After suffering the 2-1 loss at the hands of Claudio Ranieri’s team, Fabregas spoke to Sky Sport.
“I always talk about winning, that we must have a winning mentality,” he said. “In my opinion, we won tonight. Sure, we didn’t win the three points but we won many other things.”
“Tonight we grew in mentality, we learned to suffer in the Olimpico with 10 men during a long part of the match, and we continued to work and believe in a result.”
“Those who came in came in well. This is the only thing I ask: to have a team with courage that never gives up.”
