The Court of Appeal has confirmed the first-instance ruling on Pietro Berardi’s dismissal by Roma, deeming it illegitimate.

The former CEO, removed from the club on April 17, 2023, had obtained an initial victory in court in June.

The Giallorossi club had subsequently filed an appeal, asking for compensation in a counterclaim, but the request was rejected.

According to Il Tempo, the amount of compensation that Roma will have to pay to Berardi has changed: from the 210 thousand euros initially envisaged, the figure has been reduced to 150 thousand euros.

However, the matter is not yet over. In the autumn, in fact, the arbitration will examine the compensation requests made by the former manager, which could lead to further developments.
