Mats Hummels responded to the latest speculations made by Italian media about his future.
In recent days, media reports in Italy suggested Hummels was unhappy with his limited playing time as of late.
In response, the German defender published an Instagram story, clarifying the situation once and for all.
“Every time I post a private picture of Rome people write ‘Roman holiday’ and that’s what the joke was about,” he wrote in reference to a photo posted a few days ago.
“Crazy that someone says it’s criticism to Mr. Ranieri who I respect and value so much.”
