Former Roma striker Romelu Lukaku discussed his relationship with ex-Giallorossi boss Jose Mourinho.
In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Lukaku denied rumors of any tension between him and Mourinho last season in the Italian capital.
“Absolutely not,” he said. “José is a winner, I had him twice, first in Manchester and then at Roma.”
“Something happened between him and I don’t know who and I didn’t want to get involved.”
“I will never speak badly of José, at Roma he didn’t have a top team, but he went all the way.”
“I will always wish him the best, he’s doing fantastic things in Turkey too.”
