Athletic Club Bilbao had to deal with some bad news during their Europa League match against Roma.
Defender Dani Vivian, part of the Basque defence, was forced to leave the pitch in the 23rd minute of the first half due to an injury.
The club announced that the player had suffered a muscle injury to the biceps femoris in his right leg.
Further tests are currently needed to establish his recovery time, but his presence for the return match against the Giallorossi, scheduled for a week’s time, is highly doubtful.
