Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini was interviewed shortly before kick-off to Lecce-Roma.
The Giallorossi midfielder addressed Paulo Dybala’s absence as the Argentine remains out for the season.
“Paulo is a fundamental player for us, for how he makes the difference. He is trying to be present during the week and it is normal that his absence will be felt on the pitch,” he said. “The group will have to make up for his absence.”
“I think that there is a lot of focus in the locker room, but the best thing is to continue to think game by game. The poor start to the season has led us to also look at what the others are doing.”
“We must aim to win all the remaining games, as per the mentality that the coach has given us.”
