Former Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco – in charge of the club from 2017 until 2019 – spoke fondly of the Giallorossi ahead of the Derby della Capitale.
After beating Alessandro Nesta’s Monza, the current Venezia coach discussed the rivalry between Roma and Lazio in his post-match interview with DAZN.
“I reminded Nesta of the derbies fought in the past, as we have experienced many of them,” said Di Francesco.
“Tomorrow I don’t know what kind of derby it will be, I would prefer that the Giallorossi always win because of the affection I have for Roma.”
