Cesc Fabregas appears unlikely to lead Roma next season.
The Spanish technician is projected to become Bayer Leverkusen’s new head coach as Xabi Alonso completes a move to Real Madrid.
Following today’s sixth win in a row by Como (3-1 over Cagliari), Fabregas seemed to hint that his time at the Italian club may be coming to an end.
“Whatever happens I will always be grateful to this club,” Fabregas said in his post-match interview. “I am very proud of what we are doing.”
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the Spaniard – who was also linked with Roma as a possible candidate to succeed Ranieri – is bound for the German Bundesliga.
