Ivan Juric was unveiled as Atalanta’s new coach earlier today.
After being sacked by Roma and Southampton within the last season, Juric managed to return to Serie A and take over Gasperini’s team.
During his presentation at Zingonia today, the Croatian technician reflected on his experiences at Roma and in the Premier League.
“It’s been a negative year on a sporting level, but a fantastic year in terms of knowledge and experience,” said Juric.
“I feel much stronger than a year ago,” he added. “I worked at Roma, I learned a lot with great players at my disposal.”
“In Southampton I enjoyed a fabulous Premier League, I saw beautiful things and experienced the very top level of football. They were two negative experiences, on the one hand very positive for my growth.”
