As reported by Nicolò Schira, the Viola are now very close to closing the deal with Dzeko, who will officially be a free agent from 1 July after deciding not to extend his contract with the Turkish club.
Fiorentina have reportedly offered him a two-year contract worth 2 million euros net per season plus bonuses, thus beating out competition from Bologna.
At the same time, the Tuscan club is also preparing for a change on the bench: Stefano Pioli, former coach of Fiorentina and Milan, should be made official in the next few days as the new coach, replacing Raffaele Palladino.
