Roma are not quitting their pursuit of Flamengo’s Wesley.
The Brazilian fullback is the capital club’s priority to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s defense in addition to being an explicit request made by the new Giallorossi coach.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the capital club already held preliminary talks for Wesley but have momentarily put them on hold.
Di Marzio writes that Roma must first resolve the matter of player sales by 30 June.
Only then will the club pick up negotiations with Flamengo with the objective of securing Wesley’s signing.
