With just a few days remaining until the June 30th deadline, Roma are scrambling to finalise an important transfer sale to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

According to the latest report from Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma have not made progress in their negotiations for a potential swap between Evan Ndicka and Ismael Koné.

The Italian journalist notes that the deal has become increasingly complicated and is now at risk of falling through. The main issue stems from the clubs’ differing valuations of the two players.

The Giallorossi are rushing to complete a deal before Monday that earns them enough capital gain, thereby avoiding further Financial Fair Play penalties.
