Lecce sporting director Pantaleo Corvino made it clear that his club will only consider top offers for Nikola Krstovic.
The Montenegrin striker has been recently linked with Roma after his move to Leeds fell through. The reason for this collapse was Krstovic’s own preference to remain in Serie A.
While speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corvino reiterated Lecce’s asking price.
“I see that there are strikers who have scored fewer goals than Krstovic who are valued at 35-40 million. Nikola scored 12 goals last year and provided six assists: in terms of numbers, he is the eighth striker who plays in Italy.”
“So whoever wants him must take this into account. We will do everything to please the boy, so we will ask for something less than his real value, but whoever buys him must also understand Lecce’s needs.”
