Roma is stepping up its efforts to secure Palmeiras midfielder Richard Rios, undaunted by the fierce competition from Nottingham Forest and Benfica.

The Giallorossi are attempting to outmaneuver the competition by submitting a concrete offer to meet the Brazilian club’s financial demands, which have set a price tag of €30 million.

Rios is a particular favorite of Frederic Massara. As reported by Calciomercato.it, the Giallorossi are ready to come close to Palmeiras’ €30 million asking price.

The deal could be concluded with installments, with the Brazilian club pushing for a very high first installment.

The Colombian midfielder wants to know his future by the beginning of next week and has put Zenit Nottingham Forrest’s offers for Roma on hold.
