Roma has completed its first signing of the new season.
After days of negotiations, the Giallorossi club has reached a definitive agreement with Lens for the purchase of Neil El Aynaoui, the 2001-born midfielder who played a key role in the Ligue 1 season.
The breakthrough came in the last few hours: the agreement was confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, who revealed the financial details of the deal.
The transfer will be finalized for a total fee of €23 million plus €2 million in bonuses, tied to the player’s performance, without including a percentage of a future sale or other bonuses.
El Aynaoui is expected in Rome tomorrow, where he will begin the procedures for his inclusion in the squad: a medical examination in the coming days and the signing of a contract that will bind him to Gian Piero Gasperini’s team.
