With the arrival of Richard Rios falling through, Roma could still land a Colombian midfielder.

The name of Nelsson Deossa, born in 2000, is gaining traction these days.

Deossa plays for Monterrey, a Mexican club also home to Sergio Ramos, who played in the Club World Cup.

According to journalist Pipe Sierra, Roma, Palmeiras, and Real Betis are reportedly interested in the player.

Nottingham Forest and West Ham have also expressed interest, but the Roman club appears, at least for now, to have the upper hand over the two English clubs in bringing the 25-year-old to the capital.
