Lorenzo Pellegrini’s season hasn’t gotten off to a great start.

The Giallorossi captain is still out injured and won’t be available again for another month.

This situation further complicates the midfielder’s start to the season.

His contract with Roma expires in less than a year, and there have been no official talks regarding a renewal.

According to Leggo, the club is considering selling Pellegrini as an option to reduce their salary cap.

In recent days, Pellegrini was offered to Juventus in a swap deal that would have involved Weston McKennie, but the proposal was rejected by the Turin club.

This means that, at least for now, the swap will not go through, and Pellegrini remains at Roma.
