Roma have officially announced the signing of Daniele Ghilardi from Hellas Verona.
“AS Roma are delighted to announce the signing of Daniele Ghilardi from Hellas Verona.
The 22-year-old defender joins the Giallorossi after making 24 Serie A appearances in the 2024-25 season.
Having come through Fiorentina’s youth academy Ghilardi continued his professional career at Mantova, Sampdoria and Verona.
Daniele has also represented Italy at various levels, taking part in the 2023 U-20 World Cup, in which Italy reached the final. He also participated in the recent U-21 European Championship in Slovakia, where he played alongside Roma players Tommaso Baldanzi and Niccolò Pisilli.
The player has signed a contract until 2030.
Ghilardi will wear the number 87.”
