Roma and Jadon Sancho are being linked in the final weeks of this year’s transfer window.
Several reports claim that Gian Piero Gasperini has requested Roma to attempt to sign the out of favor Manchester United attacker who represents an ideal fit for the coach’s gameplan.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the capital club reached out to Sancho’s agents and inquired about the costs of a possible transfer.
As things stand, the costs involved are outside of Roma’s financial reach.
The newspaper states that the Giallorossi would have to severely alleviate their wage bill in order to have a chance to welcome Sancho.
Players like Mario Hermoso – who earns 3.5 million euros without being a starter – would first have to leave the club before Roma were to try to attempt a proposal for Sancho.
