Roma want to further strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad in the final days of the summer transfer window.
The Giallorossi are reportedly eyeing the addition of another midfielder to Gasperini’s disposal.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Gasperini personally reached out to Matteo Pessina whom he coached at Atalanta.
The Roma technician is said to have inquired about Pessina’s availability for a move to the Italian capital.
