Roma midfielder Manu Kone has continued to speak highly of the capital club in recent interviews.
After France’s comeback win over Iceland, Kone was asked by reporters about his time in the Italian capital so far.
“I left France very early, only playing for six months in Ligue 1 and a year in Ligue 2. But I’ve been doing what I do for the national team for a long time, it’s just that I was less consistent.”
“Today, I’ve reached a point in my career where, being at Roma, I’ve found that consistency,” he added.
“The Giallorossi showed their faith in me in the last transfer window, and I’m trying to give my all for the team.”
