Edoardo Bove is still a Roma player.

The midfielder, after the unfortunate incident in Fiorentina-Inter last year, will not be able to play in Italy (at least for now), but he remains under contract with the Giallorossi until June 30, 2028.

In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Bove revealed, “I can’t stay still, I have to move. I play padel, and I have a gym at home. The next step is getting back on the pitch.”

“We need to decide how, where, and when. I’ve had about ten visits, many of them simple check-ups, an ECG, stress tests, a Holter monitor, as well as arrhythmological and electrophysiological studies.”

“I’m prepared. The doctors are rightly taking all the necessary precautions. It still takes a little time, but I feel like the circle is closing. We’re talking to Roma. I’m under contract until June 2028, so that’s still a long way off.”
