Dan Friedkin had a particularly busy day.

As Il Tempo reports, after his official duties with the EFC, the Roma president arrived at Trigoria shortly after noon, continuing a round of meetings that began on Wednesday, when he attended a training session and had brief conversations with Massara and several club officials.

In the afternoon, Claudio Ranieri, the club’s senior advisor, was also present at the training center, participating in technical meetings with Gasperini and the sporting director.

The discussions focused on the team’s future starting next summer, when Roma will be able to move more freely in the transfer market after overcoming Financial Fair Play restrictions.

During the meeting, Gasperini reiterated the need for offensive reinforcements, emphasizing that—despite first place in the league—the team still has some weaknesses in attack, which were clearly evident in the opening matchdays of the season.

But it’s not just about football: Friedkin also took the opportunity to meet with finance and commercial executives, discussing topics related to revenue, sponsorships, and new growth strategies for the Roma brand.

The goal is to consolidate the corporate structure and expand revenue sources, in line with medium-term development plans.

On the sporting front, preparations continue for Saturday’s match against Inter. None of yesterday’s absentees—Angeliño, Bailey, and Wesley—trained with the team. However, Jamaican Leon Bailey hopes to earn at least a token call-up for the match against the Nerazzurri, a sign of his progressive recovery.
