Roma lost 0-1 to Inter in the big match of Serie A’s seventh matchday, and one of the few bright spots was undoubtedly the return of Leon Bailey, making his debut for the Giallorossi following an injury sustained during his first training session under Gian Piero Gasperini.
The Jamaican winger came on in the 74th minute in place of Paulo Dybala and expressed his joy at his debut on Instagram:
“It’s been a long wait, but I’m so happy to have made my debut for this fantastic club.”
“It’s certainly not the result we wanted, but we’ll be back. Thank you all for the warm welcome; the atmosphere was fantastic! See you Thursday night.”
