Gian Piero Gasperini is said to have asked Roma sporting director Frederic Massara for a new midfield signing in the January window.
The Italian coach feels that the likes of Baldanzi and Pisilli are just not good enough to come off the bench for Roma.
The two players are in fact being linked with an exit from the club in January, most likely on loan.
Meanwhile, Leggo and Corriere della Sera specify that Gasperini’s recent request concerns out of favor Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie.
The player’s contract with Juve is set to expire in June which would make the conditions for his arrival in January that much more favorable for Roma.
