Napoli are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in Lorenzo Pellegrini.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, Roma and Pellegrini will part ways.

This will happen ither in January or in the summer, on a free transfer.

A contract renewal is not in the Giallorossi’s plans.

This is why Napoli are reportedly backing the number 7, perhaps without ever leaving.

Conte had already approached sporting director Manna a year ago, but an agreement couldn’t be reached at the time.

Who knows, then, if the Neapolitans, battling with Gasperini for first place, might launch a new offensive in January, as they are looking for a player to replace De Bruyne who is set to miss at least 3 months due to injury.
