Interviewed by LaPresse during the German sports press gala evening (Deutscher SportpresseBall) at the Frankfurt Opera, former Roma striker Rudi Voller spoke about Gian Piero Gasperini’s team, currently tied for first place in the league with Inter.
“I’ve seen them a few times. But I have to be honest, I saw the match against Milan. They were clearly superior, they really played a great game. It’s a shame they lost, but they’ll certainly have a great season.”
Despite the problems in attack, the former center forward of the Trigoria club doesn’t seem worried: “The goal will come sooner or later. They’re well positioned on the pitch.”
And regarding Roma’s future, Voeller has no doubts: “I think anything is possible for them this year.”
