Como arrives at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday at 8:45 PM, and Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma risks missing two key players.

One is Ndicka, a regular in the defense, and the other is El Aynaoui, who has consistently earned himself a spot in recent matches and is slowly rising through the ranks.

The two will be playing in the Africa Cup of Nations against Ivory Coast and Morocco (hosts), respectively, which kicks off on Sunday, December 21st.

Roma is awaiting a definitive response from Ivory Coast and Morocco today regarding the possibility of postponing the departures of Ndicka and El Aynaoui for their respective African competitions.

Unfortunately for Gasperini’s team, there are no positive signs at this time, and hopes remain low.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that there are some possibilities for Ndicka, who will face Mozambique on December 24th, thus leaving a glimmer of hope for a possible postponement.

The situation is different for El Aynaoui, who will play against Comoros on the 21st and already has a flight booked for Sunday afternoon.

Time is tight, and Roma hopes to secure the green light to be able to count on the two players before they leave for their respective national team commitments.
