Roma finalizing agreement with Marseille for Robinio Vaz

Andy Mattioli

Given Giacomo Raspadori’s procrastination and the complicated situation at Manchester United, Roma’s first attacking signing of the winter transfer window could be Robinio Vaz.

The 2007-born Marseille player has captivated Gasperini and Massara, and now the Giallorossi sporting director is one step closer to finalizing a deal with the French club.

Thanks in part to an excellent relationship with the French club’s management (formerly composed of Benatia and Balzaretti), the Roman club is now very close to sealing the deal.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, an agreement is close, and the figure is expected to be around €20 million + bonuses.

The final step is to negotiate the personal terms of the deal with the player and his agents.

Massara is working to bring Roma one of the most exciting prospects in European football, who has already made 14 appearances in Ligue 1 this season, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
