Roma securing deals for Vaz and Malen

Andy Mattioli

After a slow start, Roma sporting director Massara is now preparing a double deal that will push Raspadori’s potential into the background.

The first deal concerns Robinio Vaz, born in 2007, from Olympique Marseille.

According to Leggo and Il Messaggero, the agreement between the clubs was reached thanks in part to the excellent relationship between Massara and sporting director Benatia, a factor that allowed the Giallorossi to overcome competition from Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund.

Marseille’s green light came on the basis of a loan with an obligation to buy set at €20 million plus bonuses.

Robinio Vaz, considered one of the most exciting prospects in French football due to his physical strength, versatility, and already impressive performances, was convinced by the sporting director and the coach’s project, and is expected in the capital today to finalize the deal.

In parallel, Roma have also finalized an agreement with Aston Villa for Malen. This deal will be a loan with an option to buy for €25 million.

The Dutch striker, an attacking all-rounder capable of playing in any position up front (a detail that Gasp is delighted about), is currently in talks with the Giallorossi, and according to newspaper reports, there shouldn’t be any major obstacles to the deal being completed.
