Luka Modric spoke to the media following tonight’s 1-1 draw between Roma and Milan at the Stadio Olimpico.
“We’re disappointed,” admitted the midfielder.
“I think we started the game well in the first 10-15 minutes, then Roma dominated the game. Mike saved us with several saves and we managed to survive the first half. In the second half we did much better, we created some chances.”
“Then there was this unfortunate penalty at the end: if it hadn’t been for the penalty, I think they never would have scored. We’re still not losing, and that’s a positive thing for us.”
“We’re disappointed because we couldn’t hold on to the 1-0 lead, but we’re moving forward and already looking forward to the next match.”
