Manu Koné put in a strong performance against AC Milan, but was forced to be substituted in the 58th minute.

The Frenchman’s medical tests didn’t bring good news: he suffered a grade 2 muscle tear in his right thigh biceps femoris.

The number 17, if there are no complications with his recovery, could return to the field in about a month.

Gian Piero Gasperini will be without the 2001-born player against Panathinaikos on January 29th, against Cagliari on February 9th, in the big match at the Maradona stadium against Napoli on the 15th, and against Cremonese on the 22nd.

Roma will face Juventus on March 1st at the Olimpico, and Koné could be available again against the Bianconeri.

Gian Piero Gasperini, however, will be able to count on a growing Niccolò Pisilli and Neil El Aynaoui, returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Another option, if needed, could be Lorenzo Pellegrini. The number 7, who until now has always played between the two strikers, could be moved back into the back two.
