Roma’s future hinges on the European challenge and transfer market moves.

Tomorrow, in Athens, the Giallorossi will face Panathinaikos in the final group stage match of the Europa League, aiming to secure a direct qualification to the round of 16.

Meanwhile, the transfer market is keeping Massara and Roma very busy. As Il Tempo reports, the club is looking to strengthen its squad. The situation for the left-back is rather complex.

The name of Toulouse’s Methalie remains out of reach, with the French club asking for €30 million, while negotiations for Moller Wolfe are increasingly complicated.

Consequently, Tsimikas’s permanence appears to be becoming more concrete, but it’s not out of the question that Massara could make a final bid for Fiorentina’s Fortini.

Fiorentina are asking for €15 million, and Roma have submitted an initial offer of around €10 million.

As La Repubblica reports, Napoli are also interested in the player. With the transfer window closing in just a few days, Massara may decide to wait until the summer to sign the player on his terms.
