Roma intends to revamp the left flank. Kostas Tsimikas hasn’t given any guarantees, and while waiting for Angelino’s return, they need a player who can allow Gian Piero Gasperini to bring Wesley back to the right.

One candidate the Giallorossi are exploring is Fiorentina winger Niccolò Fortini.

The Roman club had initially offered Fiorentina a low offer, but time is running out.

The Giallorossi have raised their offer and could convince the Tuscan club, given that the player’s contract expires in 2027 and he doesn’t want to renew.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, the Giallorossi have offered a fee close to €10-11 million, but to secure Fortini, Roma must resolve the issue surrounding Kostas Tsimikas.

Discussions were well underway regarding a move to Besiktas for the Greek, but the player is unsure.

The situation has therefore been put on hold, but it could evolve in the coming hours and therefore should certainly be monitored.

Roma’s desire is clear: to renew the left flank, both offensively and defensively.
