Totti and Roma are getting closer. The former captain is about to return to the club of his dreams.
As reported by Il Corriere dello Sport, after leaving Roma in controversial fashion in June 2019, thanks to the Friedkins’ work, Totti is close to returning after a long courtship.
Totti’s role would be similar to that of Ibrahimovic at AC Milan: a sort of advisor, with a contractual framework similar to Ranieri’s.
In short, Totti will act as the link between the club, Gasperini, and the Giallorossi youth system.
An announcement will be made by the end of March, with his role set to begin next season.
