Lorenzo Pellegrini was back on the score sheet tonight as he helped equalize for Roma in tonight’s 1-1 draw against Bologna in the Europa League.
After the match, Pellegrini spoke to Sky Sport.
“It was important to get this draw. We talked a lot this week, we had to be as united as possible and it wasn’t easy after Genoa.”
“We’ll take the next step when we no longer need defeat to perform like this. I can’t say anything to any of my teammates; it’s a special group with all its limitations, that gives everything for Roma, and I’m very happy to be part of it.”
“Malen? I didn’t know Donny that well, he’s truly a player who makes the difference. He doesn’t need to be at the center of the game all the time, because as soon as he gets a chance, he’s a thunderbolt. I hope we can achieve our goals because this group is special despite our limits.”
