One of Roma’s primary objectives this summer will be filling the gap on the left flank.

With Celik’s contract expiring and Wesley’s return to the right, the left flank will be without a player who can play his natural role.

Tsimikas will return to Liverpool, and Angeliño is certainly not a sure thing. So Massara has set his sights on Carlos Augusto.

His contract with Inter expires in 2028, and there’s currently no agreement between the parties regarding a possible renewal. For the Nerazzurri, the Brazilian isn’t on his way out, but he’s not unsellable either.

Therefore, a move to the capital city would be an opportunity for the former Monza player.

Carlos Augusto is considered an ideal candidate at Trigoria to strengthen Gasperini’s squad.

Roma has a budget of €15-16 million to spend on him, although Inter’s asking price is reportedly around €20 million.

In this situation, Koné could become a valuable asset.

Appiano Gentile’s interest in the Frenchman could spark a transfer tangle.

The Giallorossi must complete his FFP by June and could ask for more than €35 million for the former Mönchengladbach player. The deal to secure the full-back remains to be found, writes Corriere dello Sport.
