With their victory over Pisa, Roma have drawn level with Juventus in fifth place, moving to within one point of fourth-place Como.
As the team pursues its Champions League title, the club is starting to plan for next season’s attacking reinforcements.
According to TuttoSport, Andrea Pinamonti’s name is at the top of the list of favorites, especially if Gian Piero Gasperini stays on as Roma coach.
The coach had already requested Pinamonti a year and a half ago during his time at Atalanta, deeming him ideal for his playing system.
The 1999-born striker is demonstrating his quality again this season: with seven games remaining, he’s just two goals shy of double figures, a milestone he would reach for the fourth time in the last five years in Serie A.
The deal, however, is not a simple one: although his contract expiring in 2027 makes the striker an attractive prospect, the high valuation set by Sassuolo will require a significant financial investment.
