Despite their presence at Trigoria, there was no contact between the coach and the senior advisor to the club, not even a formal greeting.
As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, Ranieri arrived at the training center at 12:30 and had lunch with the team to motivate them ahead of the final sprint to qualify for the Champions League.
Gasperini, however, was not present at the table; he led the training session at 2:30 PM.
Beyond the strategic disagreements, the new dispute concerns the medical staff: Gasperini wants Mancini and Wesley back on the pitch immediately against Atalanta, but the Roma and Brazilian national team doctors still believe the full-back is unavailable.
