Roma are undergoing major changes within the club’s management structure.
Earlier today, Claudio Ranieri decided to hand in his resignation as a result of the recent rift between him and head coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
The decision appears to be final and an official announcement is expected in the coming hours.
Moreover, Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo writes that sporting director Frederic Massara is likely to follow in Ranieri’s steps and leave the club.
Massara had returned to Roma last year on Ranieri’s specific orders. However, his spell has been short-lived as Roma look to move on and appoint a new sporting director in his place.
