Roma returned to winning ways on the road after just over three months, defeating Bologna 2-0 thanks to the unstoppable Donyell Malen and the resurgent Neil El Aynaoui, who sealed the win in the first half.
Neil El Aynaoui himself spoke to reporters after the match.
“The assist was better than the goal,” said the Moroccan midfielder. “It’s incredible that Malen saw that move first. He’s an incredible player and he knew I could put the ball in like that.”
“I think we can do better in the game, but we were very strong in the key areas. I think that made the difference today.”
